I used to have a lot of hamsters. It's best that I don't have them now that I have kittens, but I still go look at them at pet stores every time I go to get cat food. I love their fat faces and tiny hands.

Katie got a newspaper subscription because she likes doing crossword puzzles. I think that's one of the most fabulous reasons to get the newspaper.

Oh, and let this be a warning to all of you: if you leave me alone in your house at 7:15pm, I will take a picture of your assorted piles and messes and post it for the world (read: Katie and Richard who are the only people who look at my blog) to see.

My mom is the Pastoral Associate for the Catholic church in New London. She really likes frogs. F.R.O.G stands for "Fully Reliant On God." She has some really neat frogs (like this one) in her office.

Jess and I got a room with a hot tub in it at a local hotel. The evening was full of wine in plastic cups, Newsies, pizza, and cigarettes -- all while naked in the hot tub!

This is Matt. He knows a lot of things about armadillos. We spent a number of hours at Perkins this evening, which is where I spent nearly every evening during the first two years of college.

Turns out that The Mission Coffeehouse isn't the Mission anymore. It's Afterdark. Anyway, that's where I was with my new friend, Nate. He happens to be an English teacher -- which is not how I know him. Strange.

The Disturbing

So I don't know how interesting this blog is going to be. I guess I hadn't really thought about how potentially boring my evenings were going to be until I settled into my life in Stevens Point. I'll keep it up anyway, but don't expect anything fancy.
Unfortunately the entertainment for the evening is Freddy Got Fingered. Good god. I really need to find the spizerinctum to go to the other room.

The Silly

I'm staying with Jonathan in Stevens Point until I get a job and apartment. This living arrangement involves a lot of silliness and video games.

The Morbid

I'm reading a book about dead, human bodies -- it's hilarious and has had no deleterious effects on my ability to sleep.
