The Dinner

I eat eggs (often on English muffins) very nearly every day. I wish I were a vegan, but I don't know what I would eat.

The Victory: February 4, 2009

I finally won out over Bees in the epic puzzle battle.

The Tasteful: February 3, 2009

Sometimes (read: all the time) I take a ton of pictures of Kira doing nothing until she does something. This is often the result. If you make a face like this around me at 7:15pm, I will post it on my blog!

The (Oddly Placed) TV: February 2, 2009

There was a TV in the bathroom at the hotel my mom and I stayed in.

The Silly: February 1, 2009

Kira and I were bored so we went to the bookstore. Kira does fabulous things after I take about a dozen pictures of her.

The (Slow) Progress: January 31, 2009

Bees keeps jumping on my puzzle, so I have to keep re-doing it.

The Time: January 30, 2009

It was 7:15. I was driving. And listening to WDUX, evidently.

The Sleepy Face: January 29, 2009

Bees and Ellie have a thing for the backs of couches. And napping.

The Hamster: January 28, 2009

I used to have a lot of hamsters. It's best that I don't have them now that I have kittens, but I still go look at them at pet stores every time I go to get cat food. I love their fat faces and tiny hands.

The Pile

Katie got a newspaper subscription because she likes doing crossword puzzles. I think that's one of the most fabulous reasons to get the newspaper.

Oh, and let this be a warning to all of you: if you leave me alone in your house at 7:15pm, I will take a picture of your assorted piles and messes and post it for the world (read: Katie and Richard who are the only people who look at my blog) to see.

The Bus Garage

Driving home from Stevens Point after work.

The Risk

I miss doing puzzles. Bees doesn't really let me. She jumped up on this one twice already, but I'm going to try anyway.

The Church: January 24, 2009

Driving past the church I grew up with: Most Precious Blood.

The Drunk: January 23, 2009

Playing drinking games with Eddie while watching The Labyrinth.

The Adorable: January 22, 2009

Since Bees moved out of Nottingham, she's been much more affectionate than normal -- probably because she doesn't have fifteen people playing with her every day anymore.

The Ridiculous

If you've ever been to the Tilted Kilt (I had the honor for Eddie's birthday), you will understand why this statement is so ridiculous: "He said having 'cute girls' [at the Tilted Kilt] is an attraction, 'but people stay for the great food.'"

The Princess

Lady Bees sports her finest feathers while Ellie admires from afar.

The Feathers

My kittens kept me up all night, so I went to the craft store and made them more toys today. Bees and Ellie love feathers. And bells. And string. You know, because they're cats.

The Diva

Yeah, that's my girl Tyra. Every Sunday Oxygen Network shows an entire season of America's Next Top Model. You know what I've been doing all day!

The Ellie Belly: January 17, 2009

Ellie loves to eat.

The Risque: January 16, 2009

I said, "Eddie, be gay!" And Eddie did that. More interesting is what his twin brother, Alex, did -- which appears to be pretend to give Eddie a blowjob. Which is actually much gayer than what Eddie did.

The F.R.O.G

My mom is the Pastoral Associate for the Catholic church in New London. She really likes frogs. F.R.O.G stands for "Fully Reliant On God." She has some really neat frogs (like this one) in her office.

The Decadent: January 14, 2009

Jess and I got a room with a hot tub in it at a local hotel. The evening was full of wine in plastic cups, Newsies, pizza, and cigarettes -- all while naked in the hot tub!

The Relaxing: January 13, 2009

Amy Fucking Snyder and I watched Prince Caspian while Katie peeked from behind her laptop. We also watched Barbie and the Diamond Castle.

The Wall Paint!

Katie washing dishes and listening to American Gods.

The Clean Apartment

Meet Alissa, Brock, and Katie! I'm staying with Katie for a short while in Point. We're at their friend Sara's apartment celebrating its newly clean status with UV and cranberry-raspberry juice.

The Buttered Noodles

I went back to Madison for a night and had the privilege of enjoying some fine dining at Noodles & Co. with Jessica. It was just what I needed to feel like myself again. Thanks, Jess!

The Sparkly

This is my wonderful sister, Jackie. I drove down to Madison today to see her. We're pretty awesome, as is that dress.

The Tradition

This is Matt. He knows a lot of things about armadillos. We spent a number of hours at Perkins this evening, which is where I spent nearly every evening during the first two years of college.

The New Friend

Turns out that The Mission Coffeehouse isn't the Mission anymore. It's Afterdark. Anyway, that's where I was with my new friend, Nate. He happens to be an English teacher -- which is not how I know him. Strange.

The Disturbing

So I don't know how interesting this blog is going to be. I guess I hadn't really thought about how potentially boring my evenings were going to be until I settled into my life in Stevens Point. I'll keep it up anyway, but don't expect anything fancy.
Unfortunately the entertainment for the evening is Freddy Got Fingered. Good god. I really need to find the spizerinctum to go to the other room.

The Silly

I'm staying with Jonathan in Stevens Point until I get a job and apartment. This living arrangement involves a lot of silliness and video games.

Sunday, January 4, 2009

The Morbid

I'm reading a book about dead, human bodies -- it's hilarious and has had no deleterious effects on my ability to sleep.

The Store: January 3, 2009

My good friend, Richard, working at my former job, MacTaggart's Market in Madison.

The Tequilla: January 2, 2009

Aunt Joan and I go out to Loredo's every couple of weeks and drink far too many margaritas.

The Beginning: January 1, 2009

Shower time at Nottingham Co-op, three days before I moved out.
